The focus of this seminar is Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and ROHS Directive 2011/65/EU compliance.
Participants learn that CE-marking of machinery and partially completed machinery, starts with compliance of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and its harmonized EU standards.
They need to be able to determine what type of machinery may follow the self-certification process of the Machinery directive or if certification by a European Notified Body is required. How and when standards fit into this process and if a quality management system is required.
NEW! Crucially important is learning how to read the Declarations of Incorporation/Conformity submitted by suppliers for components and partially completed equipment that will be incorporated into the final equipment/machinery for which the manufacturer of the final or completed equipment becomes responsible. This seminar provides basic instructions how to read these Declarations.
Attendees are introduced to the ROHS Directive 2011/65/EU compliance process. Step by Step instructions how manufacturers can determine if their equipment/machinery falls under this directive and/or when are discussed. An outline of steps need to be taken to ensure compliance is addressed.
This seminar assists machinery manufacturers with an overview of what is involved when they decide to CE-mark their machinery, provides NEW information about reviewing declarations of conformity/incorporation from suppliers and what they need to know about the ROHS2 Directive.
