DESCRIPTION:Navigating International Trade and Payments Workshop:  How to 
 Get Paid Using Letters of Credit\, Documentary Collections and Other Payme
 nt Terms\nJoin us for this in-person workshop on Thursday\, October 16th\,
  as we learn from two industry experts\, Karen Pinkall of FNBO and Brian G
 ordon of Commerce Bank\, on the subject of Navigating International Trade 
 and Payments. You will learn how to get paid using Letters of Credit\, Do
 cumentary Collections and other payment terms.\n\nWith global trade uncert
 ainty and cross-border risk at an all-time high it’s a good time to brus
 h up on all the tools in your toolkit when engaging in export sales. This
  course covers the full range of payment terms and methods typically used 
 by exporters\, and will give you practical knowledge into what is on the h
 orizon for exporters with regard to trade services and trade finance banki
 ng. Letters of credit (L/Cs) and documentary draft collections are covere
 d in detail. Global correspondent banking and trade compliance will also b
 e addressed.\n\nThis course is particularly suitable for exporters who nee
 d to have everyone in the company working collaboratively towards success.
  Sales\, credit\, logistics\, and even senior management all play a role 
 in getting your global strategy\, and more importantly your execution of t
 hat strategy\, right. This training event is also suitable for those\, in
 cluding freight forwarders and doc prep companies\, who are responsible fo
 r submitting documents to bank(s) for collection under L/Cs and documentar
 y collections.\n\nThe case studies and real live examples that will be cov
 ered will provide you with “real-life” situations and allow you to ap
 ply the content and knowledge you have acquired during this course\, speci
 fically showcasing the logic and ease of trade finance products and which
