Whole Foods Tarts Allergy Recall 2017: Full List Of Products Affected, How To Get A Refund
January 7, 2017
Whole Foods Market has voluntarily recalled a number of certain pastries it sells at select locations over fears the confections could trigger allergic reactions from unwitting consumers.
The tarts being sold in a variety of fruit flavors may have been made with tree nut, or almond flour. Customers were not made aware of the ingredient because the pastries’ containers did not disclose that information. At worst could result in death if eaten by those allergic to tree nuts.
